so... Time is flying fast...Summer is over, yet its still SO HOT in Texas... I cannot wait for the fall....Just to update on our life... Well I started school, and that is keeping me Oh so busy. 18hours ... and im actually enjoying every single one of my classes...which makes school easier to handle. As many of you know, Im also training for a Marathon...Nov. 16th....which seems like FOREVER away, being that ive already been training for 2 months now. Im running this marathon to raise money and awareness for Child Trafficking ...you can check the website of the organization im running with (www.forthesilent.org)... Please be praying for my legs as they have NOT been to fond of me lately....:)....but i love running, and ive really enjoyed my runs recently... SEAN is currently in Australia. He has been gone for 3 weeks and it seems like FOREVER...God's grace has been so good and has helped both of us:)...He was able to visit our first long term team in Indonesia ( my sister Brittany)...as well as burning in Australia. Back to "normal" life... Im sorry that I have been the worst EVER at posting blogs...But i have been gone for 2 months...been ALL over...and Finally have a couple of minutes to write a quick blog. This summer has been truly amazing! I have been able to experience beauty in ways i didnt know existed....Finally got out of the country again...went to Israel ( the Call), Turkey, Nepal, and India. Nepal was amazing...we planted a burn as well as ministered to children that have been rescued out of prostitution...which many of you know is MY HEART.... I cant even begin to explain how amazing that was...... then for the rest of the summer...it was around the US...Sean went to all those places with me but he was in Israel 3 separate times as well as Indonesia! I was able to spend some REAL quality time at home with family...which was SO refreshing and much needed...as well as visiting beautiful places in the US i havent been..MAINE was absolutely gorgeous! EXACTLY what I needed... if you have never been there...GO! ...anyways ..im home now...i will be posting more regularly..giving updates on our random crazy life! PLEASE pray for Sean...he is in China right now...ALSO pray for me as I am training for my first FULL marathon ... we are RUNNING FOR THE SILENT!!! Raising awareness and money for Child Trafficking and sex exploitation....i am teaming up with an organization called For the Silent..www.forthesilent.org ...please pray with me...Im also raising $2000 to go to a rehabilitation home in Cambodia for these sweet children to be restored and given hope and a future...if you would like to donate money to this...please email me at katefeucht@gmail.com! Its not all about me....

Proverbs 21:24 " The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?"

This has been my life verse for the past 2 years. Its funny because every time I read this, I am reminded that God is extremely strategic and always knows what He is doing. So many times, when situations don't make sense to me  I actually question God... He seems to hear " why why why why why why why why..." constantly from me...Like im 5 years old all over again. It is absolutely beautiful to know that God directs our steps...and we DONT always have to know why. Sometimes I get so caught up in my own agenda that I forget its not about me. I was created to Bring HIM glory.  Psalms 115:1 " Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to YOUR name goes ALL the glory, for your unfailing love and faithfulness." I think this verse sums up ALL of my "Why's"....It is NEVER about me. It is ALL about Him. I am just honored to be apart of what He is doing, no matter the cost( stress, heartache, confusion, being taken out of my comfort zone, having to trust...) ..and you know what...Its beautiful...Its the process...the journey...life... I wouldn't have it any other way................

Its About time...

Well...it sure is about time that I start blogging.....with our crazy life and amazing stories and pictures...I will try my hardest to blog as regular as possible. I do want to warn anyone who is reading this...Im not the most beautiful writer...but we have such a hard time continually filling everyone we know and love on our life...so the journey of blogging begins....

...Pray for Sean, he left early this morning for another week and a half....amazing things in this week...he wrote a blog about it already, so I will post it after this one. Im just trying to finish up this semester...and it really is kicking my butt...I have a paper that I need to write tonight...Im sorry this blog isn't that interesting...its the first one:)....its a start....but I have SO much to write about...stay tuned!
